MANAGING PARTNER
Maria Sosa is a seasoned attorney focusing on residential and commercial real estate transactions, real estate law, advocacy, business law, estate planning and regulatory compliance. She brings over two decades of professional and legal expertise, combining a robust legal education with a unique background in public administration.
Maria began her higher education journey graduating Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland State University. Then, earning her Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Since then, she has built a distinguished legal reputation across both the public and private sectors. Her work has included managing complex business transactions, ensuring legal compliance, conducting due diligence, and advocating on behalf of clients.
She served as the Office of Fair Housing Manager for the City of Cleveland, where she led investigations into housing discrimination, managed fair housing policy implementation, and worked closely with legal boards and compliance officers. Prior to that, she served as Fair Housing Administrator for the City of Lorain. Moreover, Maria also has a strong foundation in the mortgage and lending industry. She worked as a branch manager and mortgage advisor, given her a practical knowledge in financing structures, closing procedures, and compliance matters, which have given her a very valuable perspective to her practice.
Maria is also an Adjunct Professor at LCCC, where she teaches courses in legal studies, business, and urban development. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Additionally, she remains actively involved in various community initiatives. Moreover, Maria is a theater enthusiast and enjoys performing on stage as an actress whenever a role sparks her interest.
